Used RJS for our move from Abingdon to Brixham in Devon. Fantastic service! Rich was very helpful in assessing our removal needs, providing a quote and responding to our needs. Rich, along with Shaun and Steve loaded our belongings on the first day completed the load on the second then drove to Brixham and unloaded. The guys at RJS were super! I moved from a second floor pokey London flat (with narrow stair ways) to Oxford. The flat was on a busy High Street with no parking, but the guys were great and worked around it - carrying all my furniture to the nearest side road! They were punctual on arrival and loaded the van up in an hour and a half. I lost alot of sleep over getting my three seater sofa bed out of this small flat (it took 3 hours to get in), but the guys were able to get it out in 5 mins flat! They were even happy to make an extra stop to pick up an item from my grandmother's house before the end destination. Communication was always easy. Highly recommend!

He helped us work out the right size van and number of boxes (spot on). They were incredibly flexible when we were struggling to find our new home and had to change to a storage container at short notice. On the day, even after a long and slow drive to Edinburgh and unloading into a tight storage container, the guys were kind, helpful and had a great sense of humour. For me, the best thing was that I completely trusted RJS removals and they just took the stress out of moving across the country. Through a long and drawn out lead up to exchange (during the busy stamp duty holiday) Rich provided me with clear and informative communication. I knew immediately our move was in safe hands. On the day the performance of his team was flawless. They had our flat safely emptied and loaded up in no time at all. They took lots of care and attention with the disassembling and reassembling of our furniture - in some cases it was put back together into a better condition than it original was in! I was planning a move from rural South Wales to Burford, from a larger to a much smaller house. There were two big challenges.
- What to do with the bulky furniture already in my new house that I didn’t want? Every normal opportunity to pass it on was blocked by the lockdown.
- How much of my most-wanted furniture in Wales, some of it treasured inherited antiques, could be squeezed into the new cottage? Especially because the staircases to the first and second floors in the cottage are narrow and twisting all the way.
RJS had been recommended by a friend of a friend, and Rich and Steve did the tricks! I needn’t have worried about anything.
They found me some storage space and took all the unwanted furniture there before the day of the move.
And they managed to squeeze everything I wanted to take from South Wales into their “small” van, including some last-minute extras.
And in Burford they carried all the big heavy stuff up the stairs and into rooms with tricky narrow doors and they didn’t make one scratch anywhere.

Richard and Sean did my move today - a slightly complicated one involving picking up stuff from, and dropping stuff off to, separate houses in addition to the usual 'house A to house B' move, but nothing was too much trouble for them.

Wow what amazing guys. We used RJS to move us from a 4 bed house and they could not have been more helpful. They packed everything up carefully for us and then moved us to our new home. They dismantled furniture and rebuilt it where we wanted in the new house. They made sure we had beds for the first night and were really friendly and helpful. A delayed thank you, but a move just before Christmas was a little hectic and taken a while to get sorted.
A huge thank you to Rich, Steve and Shaun for supporting us through what would have been a stressful experience of moving out of London and back to the Shire.
